How to draw Sunny the Sun

What you need

  • Paper Plain printer paper is perfect.
  • Felt-tip markers Washable ones, with a black for outlines.
  • Crayons Wax crayons or oil pastels.

Step by step

  1. Step 1: A big circle

    Draw a big circle in the middle of your paper. Go all the way round.

  2. Step 2: Pointy rays

    Add pointy rays all around, like little triangles pointing away from the circle.

  3. Step 3: A happy face

    Two dots for eyes and a big smile. Now your sun is happy!

  4. Step 4: Colour the sun

    Colour the circle yellow and the rays orange. Try to stay inside the lines.

  5. Step 5: Rosy cheeks

    Add two pink cheeks beside the smile. Your sun is finished!
