How to draw Happy House

What you need

  • Paper Plain printer paper is perfect.
  • Felt-tip markers Washable ones, with a black for outlines.
  • Crayons Wax crayons or oil pastels.

Step by step

  1. Step 1: A big square

    Draw a big square in the middle of your page. These are the walls.

  2. Step 2: A triangle roof

    Put a big triangle on top of the square. Let it stick out on both sides.

  3. Step 3: A chimney

    Add a chimney on the right side of the roof. It is a tall rectangle.

  4. Step 4: A door and stepping stones

    Draw a tall rectangle door with a dot handle. Add stepping stones going down.

  5. Step 5: Two windows

    Two square windows up high, one on each side. Draw a cross in each one.

  6. Step 6: Colour the house

    Red roof, yellow walls, blue door, light blue windows, and grey for the chimney and stones.

    Draw two curly puffs of smoke above the chimney. Someone is home!
