How to draw Snowman

Build a snowman the way you build a real one: the biggest ball first, then a middle one, then the smallest for the head. You will learn to draw circles in three sizes and sit each one on the one below.

How to draw Snowman

What you need

  • Paper Plain printer paper is perfect.
  • Felt-tip markers Washable ones, with a black for outlines.
  • Crayons Wax crayons or oil pastels.

Step by step

  1. Step 1: The biggest ball

    Start with the biggest snowball at the bottom, just like building a real snowman.

  2. Step 2: A middle ball

    Now a middle-sized ball on top. Start and stop where it touches the big ball.

  3. Step 3: A stripy scarf

    Wrap a scarf round the top of the middle ball, with one end hanging down.

  4. Step 4: The smallest ball

    Put the smallest ball on the scarf for a head. Stop when you touch the scarf.

    Dot eyes, a carrot nose, a dotty smile, three buttons and two twig arms.

  6. Step 6: Colour the scarf

    Colour the scarf

    Colour the scarf in red and yellow stripes, and the carrot nose orange.

    Tap snow falling all around. Add soft blue shadows on the right of each ball.
